BattleSpades Third-Party Notices
================================

BattleSpades is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or
later (AGPL-3.0-or-later); see LICENSE and LICENSING.md. The components below
keep their own licenses, all of which are compatible with the AGPL.

Portable archives contain or are produced with CPython 3.12 (PSF-2.0, plus
the licenses of CPython's bundled libraries), PyInstaller 6.11.1 (GPL-2.0-or-
later with the bootloader exception, which permits distributing the produced
executables under any terms), Cython 3.0.12 (Apache-2.0), toml 0.10.2 (MIT),
py_trees 2.5.0 (BSD-3-Clause), pydot and pyparsing (MIT), pyenet 1.3.17
(BSD-3-Clause), ENet 1.3.17 (MIT) and Recast/Detour 1.6.0 (Zlib). Full texts
for the compiled-in components follow.

The BattleSpadesServer window additionally ships Tcl/Tk 8.6 from CPython
(Tcl/Tk license, BSD-style), CustomTkinter 5.2.2 (MIT, Copyright (c) 2023
Tom Schimansky), darkdetect 0.8.0 (BSD-3-Clause, Copyright (c) 2019 Alberto
Sottile), packaging 25.0 (Apache-2.0 or BSD-2-Clause) and tomlkit 0.13.2
(MIT). Its heading font, Barlow Condensed (Copyright 2017 The Barlow Project
Authors), is licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the full licence is
in _internal/server_gui/fonts/OFL.txt. The window's icon and artwork are
original to BattleSpades and contain no Ace of Spades game art.

Valve Steam runtime files are not part of BattleSpades archives. Optional
master-server registration loads only operator-supplied copies at runtime.

Game content: the VXL maps, map sidecars and KV6 prefabs in this archive are
Ace of Spades game content owned by their respective rights holders (Ace of
Spades was created by Ben Aksoy and published by Jagex). They are included for
preservation and compatibility, are not licensed under the AGPL, and are
separate works distributed alongside it. No retail client code or executable
is included.

Earlier MIT-licensed code

Releases up to and including v0.1.0-beta.1 were published under the MIT
License and remain available under it. Code from that period, now part of
the AGPL work, keeps this notice:
